A blueberry-resembling plant, however with flavorless fruits. Occurs in marshes but becomes steadily rarer as its natural habitat is destroyed.
Use: The berries are eaten by themselves or together with fly agarics.
Active constituents: Unknown. There are theories, according to which the effective principle is not found in the plant itself, but in a small fungus that occasionally grows on the leaves. That would also explain the unreliably occurring effect.
Wirkungen: Schwindel, rauschartige Zustände.
Effects: Vertigo, intoxicated state.
Side effects: Unknown. Therefore, but also because of natural conservation, it is advised against its use.
Suppliers: None are known.
