It is time again to report new time.
So: The Mystery of fermenting smelling rye in Mycelzucht still exists. Despite long enough Bottling DKT forms in virtually all glasses sooner or later an ugly, gäriger smell. The mycelium grows initially a bit, then comes Gärgeruch, love the mycelium is tipsy and do not want further :P - That should make NEN drug test! :D :P :D
At least it creeps only - if at all.
I have read that SALT would inhibit the growth of bacteria added to the rye. Black tea also have anti-epic effect. Or what do you think of homeopathic remedies? Tissue Salt No.3? Has there ever played around a?
Aso - before I forget: My attempt with polyester fabric for covering a glass breeding led to the following conclusion: See Glass 9
I suspect that the increased gas exchange has greatly favored the mycelial growth. Everything is from the mycelium mat - grown down - so from above.
My other impression is that the mycelium has formed a graft, which has prevented a further gas exchange. Therefore, the mycelium is grown further down.
I am as usual on your generous response! 8-)

Aha, now I know how to integrate images into text. Hooray!
And THANK YOU also for the numerous tips and tricks! Am I the only fungus (versuchs) breeders here ;) ?

It seems to me there is something much fluid has collected in the glass below, perhaps you might like to try something less liquid member to add if you sterilized the brood.

Of homeopathic remedies I think basically do nothing, but that can not hurt either, since they do nothing.

Thank you for your tip purely emulate less water. The ingredients and amounts I have for my new course book: pure tilted "The Mushroom Book". My very latest attempt builds on rye in a roasting bag, which was previously micro perforated with a spiked roller. So water can drain storage, and gas exchange to take place. Amazingly, smells of rye after two days as well fermented baby-AA.
Tchja - and now love to homeopathy:
I personally think Homeopathy for quackery. Hoax - Woman fuss. ;) (No, I am NOT a Chauvinist :D ) Basically, there would always be a new barrel to open:
Imagine if we find an herb, a drug that actually works in homeopathic dilution! The homeopath verily swear to the effectiveness of 1,000,000,000,000 - fold dilutions. COOL! Then we lie on the couch - wide as the butt of a urafrikanischen eightfold mother with obesity of NOTHING, high as the Burj Khalifa, and the drug police would NEVER find what ...
    [S] S-O-S [/ s] L-O-L
    Has anyone ever nachgedachet about?

What I have remembered. You shake the glass after inoculation also through properly? Quiet even 1-2 days after inoculation all times by shaking so that the spores spread properly. Then the mycelium at various points and not only from above grows downwards, or vice versa!
For this, the glass may not be completely filled with rye of course, there must be some place to stay. This is also important in order to allow growth at all.

Yes, I'll shake carefully and conscientiously. Thereafter, each time everything looks unfortunately totally destroyed from. No longer visible mycelium - all gone (wein!!)
Whether I have also made it so conscientiously THIS glass I do not know. Since the vaccination of rye by transfer from glass to glass 5 9 - 9 and then glass was pretty full that may not have worked so well with the mess shaking ... This is indeed possible.
Now everything is always in roasting - mixed with 400 grams of freshly sterilized rye.
Furthermore, I have 3 x 50 grams mycelium - almost completely grown rye. I was soon put on wood.
    [B] For the record - I'm trying to breed the P.Azurescens [/ b].
    A:
Wood chips should be fresh, foliage of trees and if possible of birch or alder.
Old (pre-soaked) Beech does not seem to work for me. (Try)
How do I beomme the only? ...
    B:
In "The Mushroom Book" Schuldes writes that he added to the wood chips plaster. He writes in this Zussammenhang but of Shitake - this also applies to the Azurilein?
    C:
Schuldes writes further that breeding on wood [b] hummus [/ b] works even better. So humus from wood chips. Of alder or birch. Hello? Where should I Get that?
To make the attempt to grow corn breeding in the church yard of humus is also generous failed. The rye mildew-only the mycelium arrives.
It gets more complicated. Meanwhile, I feel more like Dr. Mabuse because Winston Smith.
But whether it - I never expected quick success.
