D-Lysergsäureamid is a partial agonist of serotonin receptors.

Argyreia Nervosa Boii;. Bindweed family (Convolvulaceae).

Hawaiian baby woodrose is a large perennial vine with heart-shaped leaves (up to 30 cm in diameter), which are staffed with silvery hairs on the underside. The 5-8 cm long flowers are pink and sit at the end of a 15 cm long stem. The pods dry to a smooth, dark brown, capsule of hazelnut size and are surrounded by a dry calyx. Each capsule contains one to four furry brown seeds. The baby wood rose is native to Asia and grows naturalized in Hawaii, where it is also cultivated. It is also called elephant winds and silver herb.

This plant is interesting because its hallucinogenic properties have become popular outside of Hawaii recently. While her relatives from the family of wind plants (Convolvulaceae) as Rivera corymbosa (Ololiuhqui) und Ipmoea violacea (White-flowered morning glory), were used in South America for centuries in shamanic rituals, the Hawaiian Baby Woodrose was not traditionally been known as an effective hallucinogenic plant. On their characteristics one was only in the 60 `ren attentive, although the chemical composition of its seeds nearly with those of the above types is identical. Your seeds even contain the highest concentration of psychoactive substances within the family.

Cultivation and Propagation:

In frost-free areas, these winds can be grown outside. Otherwise, they may in a large pot outside in the summer and will be recouped in case of frost. They can also multiply by division by cuttings, seeds, or in the spring. To get the seeds to germinate, they carefully carves a remote from Keimungsauge notch in the bowl and soaked the seeds so until it swells. Then he is deeply depressed about 1 cm in nutrient-rich, loose soil and held without heat supply from below. Watering after the formation of the germ layers may occur sparingly. The soil surface should dry down to a depth of 1 cm before re-casting, because over-watering can rot the trunk and roots. The plant grows only slowly until about 6 leaves have formed, after which it grows much faster. In the first year, the winds a shrub 30 to 60 cm in height, which can be kept outside in a large pot in non-frost-free areas in order to grow in the winter. Next spring the vine grows into a large greenhouse and can be up to 10 m high climb. Then it also produces flowers and seeds. In this second year, it is best planted or transplanted into a large bucket. In freezing areas, you can dig up the roots and hold, or hibernate the bucket in a cool place until spring.

To harvest the seed pods should be well dried on the plant, they can then be stored in a cool, dry place. Their effectiveness begins after 6-9 months to decrease.

The methods to increase the alkaloid content of winds, can also be applied to the Hawaiian baby woodrose (see "Morning Glories" IpomoeaSpecies).

Hawaiian Baby Woodrose seeds

Contain the seeds of Hawaiian Baby Woodrose LSA (Ergin, D-lysergic acid amide), a precursor of LSD. Usually the seeds are eaten, although there is a wealth of Präperationsmethoden.

The active oral dose is 4-12 seeds and holds 4-8 hours.

The LSAContent in Argyreia Nervosa is 0.14% of the dry weight of the seed.

LSA is far less potent than LSD. It does not cause such an intense visual hallucinations like LSD, but acts more on the mental, intellectual level. D-lysergic acid amide but causes stronger auditory hallucinations. Visual symptoms associated with closed eyes are common. The perception of time slows down. An active mental activity is a LSATrip as characteristic as the sensation that they are very clear and organized. But to the contrary effects also occur.
